Zippered Window Tops
Ordering a top for your Mazda Miata can be very confusing.  There are more options available for this top than for any other single car.  Use this guide for assistance with the different types of tops available.

Zippered Window Tops
One Piece Tops
Three Window Tops
The original reproduction tops are designed like the original tops.  There is a zipper around the back window, and will require you to unzip the window and lay it into the well area before lowering the top.
These tops have a zipper around the back window, just like the originals.  The difference is that the tops also include a strap kit, which, when properly installed, will allow the top to be lowered without unzipping the window first.  The main reason for the zippers is to allow the rear window to be lowered for extra ventilation while the top is up.
One piece tops have no zipper around the rear window.  The window is sealed directly to the top.  These tops also include the strap kit which, when properly installed, will allow the top to be lowered without unzipping the rear window.
These tops have three vinyl windows sealed directly to the top in the rear.  There is a main window in the center, and a smaller window on each side.  The three windows help to provide better visibility, and allow more light to enter the car.

A special note about glass windows and roll bars:  There has been much discussion about the use of glass windows with roll bars.  The problem is that many of the roll bars available are too narrow for the glass window to go between.  Our glass windows have been verified to work well with the Hard Dog Roll Bars, but we cannot be certain about other brands.
